Was very low key for the most part. We have had the tendency to let little holidays like this slip by without doing anything, but this year we did a little something. Shawn got home from work about 5:30pm and had a basket in hand from The Sweetest Things filled with 4 different types of coffee!! If you know me and know my coffee addiction then you know that a basket of coffee is as good as it gets for me!! I am currently having a cup of one of the flavors this morning, I think it is the Cookie Doodle flavor, but I am not sure because I asked Shawn to get my coffee ready this morning and to surprise me with the flavor.
I had dinner going last night which wasn't too elaborate but it was really good none the less. Then after dinner I had Shawn stay in the kitchen and clean up while I set up his surprise desert.....Mocha Fondue!! It was so good and so easy to make in the fondue maker I got us for Christmas! We had Bananas, Pineapple, Pound Cake, Marshmallows, Apples, and Strawberries to dip.....Yummy!! I also made Shawn a card which I think turned out really cute!!
So over all I think we both had a really good Valentines Day and I hope everyone else did too! =)
