Recap..

*  Monday night I was officially sworn in as the co-chair of the Family Readiness Group.  I am excited to be on the board and hope to make some positive changes to help all the other ladies on our boat.  

*  I have cooked dinner for 2 different sets of friends this week and it was great!  I love to cook and enjoy having friends over!  

*  Savannah's potty training is still going very well.  We had a few slip ups yesterday and I am not sure why, but other than that she is doing great!  

*  Shawn has left me a bag of goodies for every week he is gone and also cards to open.  So far he has not disappointed me.  He is so wonderful and it makes me happy to know he put this much effort into something that will help me through patrol.    

*  Last night we had a FRG dinner at Lucky Dawgs here in town.  This was my first time there and it definitely won't be my last.  We all sat outside on their patio and they had huge heaters since it was a little chilly and they had a live band playing.  The band was really good and the atmosphere was awesome!  Savannah had a great time playing with all her friends and really enjoyed the meal!  

*  My dad comes into town on Monday and I am really excited.  It has been 7 months since he has seen Savannah and she isn't even the same kid he saw.  7 months makes a world of difference at this age.  I think he is going to be so tickled at how much she has grown and changed.  I also think Savannah is going to LOVE having her Babajune here!  (that is farsi for grandpa)  

*  We have a play date this morning at the park so I better get going so I am not late.  Bye!  =)
