So thanks to the enthusiasm of some of my friends and my sister in law, we decided to not be our usual boring selves and take a trip down to Orlando. Ok well really I made the decision and all the reservations but Shawn was just as happy to go as I was. My dad got us a GREAT deal on a hotel for $39 a night because he works for Merriott! Super stoked about that. So we headed down to Orlando on Friday afternoon and stopped at the outlets in St. Augustine. I did some damage there in the form of a new wardrobe for my child. (Like she needs any new clothes!!) And I scored 2 hoodies from GAP and some stuff for Savannah at great prices with an additional 30% off!! It was awesome! Ok, so we got to the hotel later than we had planned and ended up going down to Downtown Disney around 7:30 almost 8. I would of said that going that night was a waist, except that Savannah had a freakin' blast! They had a DJ out in the middle playing all kinds of fun songs and Savannah ran right up to join the rest of the kids and adults in doing some line dancing! I was FLOORED!! We were laughing so hard at her that I was crying! She was so damn cute and I didn't have my damn camera!! Savannah was out there doing the cupid shuffle right along with all the adults! It was hysterical! There was a couple that was so tickled with her that he was actually taking a little video of her with his camera! Hey were laughing and cheering for her right along with us. It was so darn cute!
So, Saturday morning we got up bright and early and went and got breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts. It was pretty yummy! We got to Sea World right about the time it opened, and thanks to their military appreciation we get in free once a year! Totally bad ass because, damn, Sea World is EXPENSIVE!!
Anyways, here are some pictures of our trip to Sea World and pics from out second attempt at Downtown Disney Sunday morning before we came back home!

Savannah was so tickled with seeing the dolphins in the underwater exhibit.

One of her other favorites is the Aquarium with the fish in the floor. She would lay there all day watching them if we would let her.

We took a small time out and let her play in the big sand box at Shamu's Happy Harbor. She is really obsessed with sand right now. We have got to get the child a sand box!

Because we saved so much money on the admission, Shawn treated his girls to Dine with Shamu! It was an all you can eat and drink (beer included, which Shawn loved!) buffett behind the Shamu stadium. While we ate we saw the behind the scenes of the Believe Shamu show. Then about the time the show ended, we were almost done eating and they brought the whales into the pool that you see above and talked all about them and have them demonstrate training and other stuff. Shawn and I did it on our Honeymoon so it was neat to do it again but to be able to share the experience with Savannah! She really enjoyed it!

Downtown Disney is so much fun because it is free and Savannah still got to see her favorite people! Mickey and Minnie!!

Donald and Daisy

And of course Winnie the Pooh and Friends!! =)
