Just Awful...

Wednesday I took Savannah in for her 18 month check up.  She did really well, only cried a few times, like when we needed her to lay down on the table, apparently she did NOT like that!  She checked out really healthy, right on par with height and weight, which is 33 inches tall and 24 pounds.  She has grown in height since our last visit but not in weight which is good, because she was a VERY chunky baby!  =)  

They gave her her 12 month shots (yes she is way behind) and she did pretty good.  Of course she cried when they gave her the shots but once we got out of there and went back into the waiting room where Wonder Pets was on, she stopped crying and was fine for pretty much the rest of the day.  We have been doing Tylenol every 4 hours because they said that two of the vaccines were live viruses and that she might get a high fever.  Well she did!

Yesterday evening was pretty bad, she was literally HOT to the touch.  Her fever was 100.6 when she went to bed at 9 and at 10 when she woke up crying it was up to 101.6.  We had just given her Tylenol at 6:30 and another half dose at 8:30 before bed so it was too soon to give her any more.  We just took her out of her long sleeve PJs and put a short sleeve shirt on her and turned her fan on.  She went back to sleep pretty quick which was nice.  Of course I was worried and had to sit up for a while to make sure she was ok!

She is just as happy as can be this morning!! Her fever seems to have broke and I hope she feels good the rest of the day!!  It is def. no fun seeing your baby sick when there is nothing you can do!
