Another big step...

Yesterday, when nap time rolled around, Savannah asked for her paci as usual, but it was NO WHERE to be found! I looked in all her usual hiding places and everywhere I could think that she had been playing with no luck. Finally I told her that I would keep looking for it, but she needed to try and go to sleep. She did and with no fussing! I was kinda shocked! Although she didn't sleep for as long as I would of liked, she woke up in a good mood. She came and asked me if I had found it and I told her...nope!

Night time rolls around and as I am going into her room for something I happen to glance in the direction of her kitchen and see something orange in the microwave. Yep, it's her paci! She was cooking it apparently. lol. So I took it and hid it and decided to give night time a trial without it. She did great!! I told her she was a big girl now and she needed to try and sleep without it. I also told her that if she did, we would go shopping for Baby Ally's 1st birthday present tomorrow and she was VERY happy about that!

Now, Shawn had duty last night so had Savannah woken up in the middle of the night freaking out about the paci, you better believe I would have caved and given it to her just to get her to go back to sleep, but SHE DIDN'T!!!! She slept all night and is actually still asleep right now!

I am very proud of her (and me!) and hopefully the trend yesterday continues and she will officially be paci free!! =)
