First Tooth!
Scarlett cut her first tooth today!! That would explain all the fussing the past 2 days! I can't believe how quickly she is growing up!! Wish I could slow it down, I am not ready for my cute, sweet, squishy Moo Moo to get any bigger!! And my boobs really aren't ready for teeth either.........

Moo Moo.....
.....is Scarlett's nick name...so going with that, and the fact that Britax doesn't have any girl patterns in the carseats we were looking at we ended up getting her this:

My Moo Moo looks so cute in it!! =)

Air Show!
View from in front of my house! So cool that we can sit outside and watch the air show and not have to actually go down and fight crowds! Savannah and I actually went and grabbed lunch then sat in the car on the top of the hill here in housing and watched the show! It's awesome!

We saw them yesterday, today, and it is going on Saturday and Sunday too!

Cute Pic!
We recently just got back from a trip to St. Louis! I thought I would share a super cute picture we got made! Hayden and Addisyn are Shawn's brother's kiddos. They were in St. Louis at the same time as us and it was a week of total chaos and fun!! You can't really tell but the girls are all wearing coordinating outfits that I made. Miss Scarlett was being a silly little girl and once she found Hayden's shoe laces she wanted noting more than to eat them! lol!

First Food!
Scarlett had her first solid food today! Oatmeal mixed with breast milk...yum! Well at least she thought so. She did so good and was very eager to get the spoon in her mouth. We only gave her a few bites tonight, but it was really neat to see her eat real food!

Random's
- Scarlett will be 6 months old next week. Where the hell has the time gone??
- Scarlett weights 18 pounds and about 13 ounces.
- She is such a chunky, rolly little girl!
- She is sitting up on her own now as long as surrounded by the boppy or pillows or something like that, and she is just so happy!
- She is itching to get moving! Any time Savannah is running around, Scarlett's little legs get to kicking and her hands start flailing like she is just ready to jump up and start playing with her big sis! It's so neat to watch how much Scarlett reacts to Savannah!
- We are going to pick up some formula as a supplement for Scarlett. It's not that my milk is not enough, it's more that I need a little bit of time away from the kids sometimes and I can't pump enough to keep a decent supply. I do have reservations about this so we will see how it goes.
- I am really, really irritated with someone.
- I love my husband more than I ever thought possible.
- We are going to St. Louis next week, and Dallas at the end of Sept. It will be nice to get away for a bit.
- I want to reduce the crap in my house by half before we move, but somehow I don't see that happening.
- I am going to try my hardest to let my hair grow out so that I can donate it to Locks of Love. I am also going to try and let Savannah's hair grow out too, but we'll see how that goes!
- I am really ready for fall!
- I have gotten to sleep until 9 am for 2 days in a row and I am thrilled about it! Scarlett is moved to her swing before Shawn leaves at 7:30 and Savannah just plays in her room quietly or watches movies on her Ipod until I wakeup! Makes me even happier about her school being from 12:30-3:30!!
- I have come to the decision that I don't really like the zoo here. Yeah it's nice enough and has an abundance of animals, but it's WAY too hilly!! If they where going to put all the effort into making this great zoo, they really should of leveled it out first! There are parts that are impossible for me to get too without someone pushing me, and with Shawn needing to push the double stroller, I am left to push myself and some of those hills are not possible. I seriously miss the Jacksonville Zoo! That was an awesome zoo!!
- I think the carousel at the Children's Museum is ridiculously expensive!! It's $2 for one ride! And there is no discount or anything wether you are a member or not. Seriously? I am kinda up in the air about wether I like the Children's museum or not. It's pretty good for Savannah, but when we went with my cousins, her little girl is just shy of 2 and I think everything was a bit too advanced for her. They do have a "baby" area, but that was too babyish for her.
- If they moved Handicapped parking to the back of the lot I would never have a problem finding a parking spot. Nothing pisses me off more than seeing someone whip into a handicapped spot, get out of their car and WALK into the building. Really? Do you need to park close so you can go walk around the mall for hours??? If you can walk around the mall you don't need to park close. period.
- One of the hardest things about raising kids and being in a wheelchair is the inability to walk around with my fussy baby. It kills me that I cant walk around with Scarlett when she gets fussy.
- There was an episode of Glee where he made everyone use a wheelchair for 3 hours a day for a week to try to get them to appreciate the difficulties of one of the characters who is in a wheelchair. I think my "8 year anniversary" post will be all the things that are hard about being in a wheelchair.
OK that's it for today! Hope everyone has a great day! TGIF!! =)

Happy 4th Birthday Savannah!
On Savannah's actual birthday we took a few of the left over cupcakes and popped some candles in them and sang happy birthday again. She was quite satisfied with that seeing as there was a small pile of presents waiting to be opened!

My 4 year old little girl!

Think she's happy?? lol! She has been asking for a darn pillow pet for MONTHS now. We happened upon them at a store in the mall and decided to get her one. She was just so happy! She kept thanking us over and over for her pillow pet!

She has slept on it every night since!

Sporting a birthday hat that came in Bridget's package!

Of course Little Sis had to get in on the birthday action!
Overall Savannah had a really great 4th birthday! =)

Birthday "Get Together"
So, instead of having a huge birthday party for Savannah this year, we had a birthday "get together." I told Savannah that we would have a birthday party next year, but this year we were going to keep it small. My cousins were in town and we had her friend Abby and her family over. Shawn grilled burgers and dogs and we sang happy birthday to Savannah. Martina (Abby's mom) made Savannah's birthday cupcake cake in the shape of a princess crown and it was really cute. Can't believe she is 4 years old, but honestly it didn't hit me like it did when she turned 3. I think next year when she turns 5 I am going to freak! lol!
Here are some pics of the fun day!

Sweet birthday girl!

Sheila's Neurotic: Pt. 1
Here are some things that drive me absolutely insane or have to be done a certain way and if they are not I freak or have to re-do them:
- If I make chicken I absolutely have to rinse the chicken, trim it all up so I don't see any fat or gooey crap, and then pound it! I don't care what chicken dish I am making, I do this EVERY time.
- Grilled cheese sandwiches: Don't ask to help me, I have a sequence and method and don't like it messed up. The butter HAS to be all the way to the edges and even all over.
- Do not ask to help me cook, period. Nothing irritates me more than when my "flow" is interrupted when I am in the kitchen cooking. If I want help I will ask.
- Toilet paper should go OVER. Period.
- Saying "you are excused" after someone says "excuse me" I think is rude.
- I load my dishwasher a certain way and will reload it if it's done wrong.
- If you visit someone and don't know where something goes, ask. Don't just randomly put things away.
- I refuse to wash my hair towel after every use. I actually will use all of my towels a few times before I wash them, unless of course they get dirty. Washing them after every use is a waste.
- Laundry has to be folded a certain way or I will redo it.
- My bagel MUST be toasted until just shy of burnt (on both sides), otherwise I won't eat it.
- I will not drink tap water, for the most part. Something about it grosses me out.
- The key for my car has to be put in a certain way so that the keychains dangle down, I will turn the car off and put it in the right way if its not.
- I only eat with the small spoons and forks.
- My cooking pots and pans have to be stacked a certain way in the cabinet.
That's all I can think of for the moment. Pt. 2 coming soon....
